This is the trilogy that Gotham deserves.
It’s official. Frank Miller is returning to his Dark Knight saga with the final comic book The Dark Knight III: The Master Race.
While the name suggests that our favorite caped crusader is planning on teaming up with Indiana Jones, no word yet on what the plot will be. Judging by that bloody Superman symbol, it probably won’t be good for Clark Kent.
This third installation is the sequel to The Dark Knight Returns (1986), and Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again (2002-2003).
Frank will be working with writer Brian Azzarello, who’s penned such iconic comic book masterpieces as 100 Bullets, Joker, and Wonder Woman. Such a good choice!
The final part of the trilogy is set to come out in fall of 2015. That’s (checks watch) this year! We’ll keep you posted once artists are named.
