If every LGBTQ person has to appear in court, it kind of sounds like it might be really fun. A Nebraska woman, 66-year-old Sylvia Driskell, has filed a lawsuit at a U.S. District Court against every homosexual on Earth. No word yet if she plans to include any homosexual in space, however.
Driskell, who claims to be an ambassador of God, is posing a question to Judge John M. Gerrard, “is homosexuality a sin, or not a sin?” Apparently, she missed the day in church where it’s explained that only God can judge, and we’re fairly certain Judge Gerrard can’t answer this one.
Driskell hasn’t cited any legal cases for her argument that “homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet?” (Maybe because they fear people like Driskell?) Instead, she cites the bible in her seven-page, handwritten petition, and she is challenging the court not to call God a liar.
No summons have been issued, is the court not taking Ms. Driskell seriously? Or are they preparing to serve every homosexual in the world? We can’t wait to see how Driskell v. Homosexuals pans out.
