The greatest trick the Queen ever pulled was convincing England she didn’t exist.

Pulling a move out of Jasmine’s playbook, Queen Elizabeth (a princess at the time) managed to escape the palace walls undetected for one night. Unlike Princess Jasmine, she did not almost have her hand sliced off by a fruit vendor, as she generally had the time of her life.

Today, is the hallowed anniversary of VE day. 70 years ago, Allied force were finally victorious of Axis powers in the European theater of war, because hey, the King’s Speech WORKED!

In the actually uplifting video above, a younger Queen Elizabeth describes going incognito with her sister Princess Margaret among the joyous throng, and she even describes a Dutch sailor trying to get his hat back, so yeah things got pretty turnt up.

Can you imagine what would happen if she tried to going among the common folk today? How much Molly would she do?
